Energy

Green energy describes environmentally friendly sources of power and energy. Typically, this refers to renewable and non-polluting energy sources.

The State Government is leading by example on cutting greenhouse gas emissions. By 2010 the public sector will be buying at least 20% of its energy from renewable sources.

The Department for Planning and Infrastructure's Living Smart program offers practical ways for you to save money and energy at home.
