The federal Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards (WELS) Scheme labels products for water efficiency, helping Australian households save water and money. By buying more water-efficient products you can save money on water and electricity bills and help the environment. The Water Rating Label shows a number of stars to give a quick comparative assessment of the model's water efficiency, and an estimate of typical water consumption. The (WELS) Scheme website has detailed information about water efficiency ratings.
